nice games BUT
Chris u know only two ways :
- 1st is 21 rush and use towers for defend eko or towering enemy base. then take gold and make archers and go castle wink.gif
- 2nd is 21 scouts make some farms and unstoped scouts. then make AR some skirms and then take gold and make archers. still keep enemy undert attacking with scouts. Then make +1 for archers and bloodlines and then stop making scouts just keep archers and go castle.
That's all. Its good! U r very good! But games vs players like Is_cool aren't so easy. why? cuz they rushing you and u cant do your two strategies because rush vs rush its very famous strategy in china and they are very good at it.
Maybe just try to make some pack vs china boys thumbsupsmileyanim.gif daut never rush and always die because no map control wink.gif
I think you are very mistaken. Simply because those are two of my favorite strategies is by no means a gauge of what I do in all my games. I have played the top china guys on IGZ and have won above 70% of the games. Recently I qualified for canadian WCG preliminaries for warcraft 3 (
http://www.wcgzone.com/league/LG_league ... eagueno=95 ) and now I am getting back into AoC again for WCL, there are always a few bumps when you pick up an old game again.
I have gone through all of the strats, from stone walling off the bat to pop 25 rushing to aztec drushing and booming to aztec feudal fighting to excessive experimentation with a couple mayan strats to pop 22 rushing (variations of 3 forward vils, 4 forward vils, mining stone, mining gold, using them as army) to pop 22 scout defense to pop 21 rush and scout defense. Before the 1.0B patch I even had a pop 24 4 m@a 4 vil rush 2 archery 10:30 rush that worked amazing against skirm rushers. I used it for two weeks and had a streak of 17 when the B patch came out and china had -1 vil. Then I switched that to a mongol variation where it was 10:10 with one archery range and two on stone with 4 forwards and 3 m@a for m@a and tower abuse.
At one point in time I even had a strategy where I walled the enemy out of my base, except for 2 tiles, in which I had a medium sized square of walls, and the second the enemy went in to see if it was open I walled it from both sides with several vils, trapping their army inside. I would scout well and attack their base the same time they attacked mine, and once their army was trapped game was over immediately.
Is cool has a simple rush strategy. The tougher games against him were the ones where he parked on a hill with his rushing while stealing my sheep and killing my boar vil in the lag (which is surprisingly less lag in comparison with laggy games I've had in the past). No matter who I'm facing or if I've done that to my opponent it is not an easy situation.
And there were far more then one big mistake in azt war game. Daut had the one you said, also he missed two spots of walling. On the other hand, I lost 5 miltia and an eagle with him having 4 remaining. Also in castle in one of our fights I had about 10 eagles garrisoned inside my barracks. Also I needed to do the fast imp and "break out" style since both of my stones and both of my 4 patch golds were outside my walls and in aztec wars those are required quite quickly.
